Report of a Case of Ectopic Squamous Epithelium in the Submucosal Layer of Stomach

Abstract
|
|
|
50-year-old man was suffered from anorexia, indigestion with gastric fullness; and he had been done gastric fiberscopy because of clinical impression to the stomach malignancy.
The histologic examination revealed large groups of squamous epithelial cells in the submucosal layer of the stomach, and chronic inflammatory cells appeared in the mucosal layer with atrophy of the gastric glands.
